பிள்ளையப் பெத்தா கண்ணீரு; தென்னைய பெத்தா இளநீரு ன்னு சொல்லுவாங்க…ஆனா அந்த தென்னைகளையும் இழந்து தவிச்சுட்டு இருக்கிற நம்ம விவசாயிகளுக்கு ஏதாவது பண்ணிடனும்னு நினைச்சப்போ தான், எப்பவும் பொழுதுபோக்குக்காக மட்டுமே வாட்ஸ் ஆப், ஃபேஸ்புக் பயன்படுத்துறவங்களா இல்லாம, இவங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யுறதுக்காகவும் சில நண்பர்கள் இணையத்தின் மூலமாக இணைந்தோம்.

பணம், பொருள் என்றுமட்டுமில்லாமல் அவர்களின் உயிரினும் மேலாக கருதக்கூடிய மரக்கன்றுகளை வழங்க தீர்மானித்தோம். சுமார் 1,700 மரக்கன்றுகளை (500 குடும்பங்களுக்கு) வழங்க தயாரானோம். முதற்கட்டமாக வேதாரண்யத்தில் உள்ள தாணிக்கோட்டகத்தில் தென்னை, மா, பலா, கொய்யா, வேம்பு, புளி, மருதம், புங்கன் உள்ளடங்கிய (ஒரு வீட்டிற்கு 3 கன்றுகள் வீதம்) சுமார் 100 குடும்பங்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. இதனை பெற்றுக் கொண்ட விவசாயிகளின் சந்தோச மனநிலையை அமைத்திட வார்த்தைகளில்லை. முகமும் அகமுமாய் சந்தோசத்தில் திளைத்திருந்தனர். வார்த்தைகளில் வடிவமைக்க இயலாத அந்த சந்தோசத்தை கீழ் காணும் புகைப்படத்தில் காணலாம். சாய்ந்த பல தென்னைகளுக்கு மத்தியில் நாம் அளித்த தென்னங்கன்றை ஆனந்தமாய் நடும் முதியவரின் கண்களில் பார்க்கலாம் அவர்களின் நன்றியையும், சந்தோசத்தையும்.இக்கன்றுகளனைத்தும் சோலைவனம் என்னும் இடத்திலிருந்து வாங்கி அவர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. இதற்கான போக்குவரத்து செலவு ரூ.5000 தை முகநூல் நண்பர் திரு .சிவா அவர்கள் ஏற்றுக் கொண்டார். இதற்குகனா செலவுகளை நண்பர்கள் குழு ஏற்றுக்கொண்டது. துணைபுரிந்த அனைவருக்கும் மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளும் வாழ்த்துக்களும்…

முடிந்தவரை நமக்கும் , அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கும் பயனளிக்கும் வகையில் இயற்கையை வளர்ப்போமாக…!

Currently with the Vermeer BC1800XL machine we are able to convert around 200 trees per day into wood chips. Which amounts to around 60 tonnes of wood chips. If it is supplied as bio fuel to sugar mills, bio powerplants, cement factories and briquetting units it can become a sustainable and viable economic model.

For instance, the EID Parry sugar mill is located close by to the affected areas and if anyone has any contacts who can get in touch with them to purchase the bio fuel it would be of great help
